Earth Data PR6-24 Portable Field Recorder

A high performance recorder for seismic profiling, aftershock studies, networks, noise measurements and magnetotelluric studies.

The PR6-24 "Recorder" combines the PS6-24 with a hard disk recording facility again within a rugged weatherproof enclosure. The removable hard disk, which is protected by its own weatherproof case, can be exchanged without loss of data. Both USB and Ethernet connections can be used for communication and data download.

The Kenda Group Profile

The Kenda name has been associated with the computing industry since 1976, when Kenda Electronic Systems Limited was formed. Having achieved sustained growth in this competitive field, the Kenda Group now consists of three divisions: Kenda Electronic Systems, Kendata Peripherals and Earth Data, all of whom were awarded ISO9001 (formerly BS5750) Accreditation in 1993.

Originally specialising in building custom computer systems, the progressive addition of Kendata Peripherals and Earth Data has extended the range of activities to areas of technology such as optical character recognition, and seismic data acquisition. In the main, these activities have developed from a philosophy of pursuing technical markets that need specialists companies to service them. Each company in the Group concentrates on its own market areas but, when necessary, is able to draw on the facilities and expertise of other members of the Group.

In such specialist areas there is an inherent requirement for first class maintenance and software support, and this had led to the development of a very strong customer support division. Facilities are available for customer training, both for operators and programmers as well as customer engineers.

The Group's headquarters, a 25,000 sq. ft factory unit on an established Industrial Park west of Southampton, consists of an electronics manufacturing facility, development laboratories, software departments, test departments, design offices, and a mechanical workshop.
