Kenda wins metering contract for Immingham CHP plant
Southampton-based Kenda Electronic Systems has been awarded a six-figure contract by prime contractor Laing Engineering to supply a complete tariff metering system for the new PowerGen CHP plant at Conoco's Immingham refinery.
Under the terms of the contract, Kenda will be supplying all the metering and data-collection panels, an ancillary panel housing flow computer and gas chromatograph controller equipment, and a PC-based local collector station with proprietary Kenda software.
This latest contract follows the successful implementation of Kenda metering data-collection systems at the Kemsley Mill and Iggesund CHP plants and at hundreds of other sites throughout the UK electricity supply industry.
