Kenda appoints Allen Haughton to spearhead metering maintenance
operations
Southampton-based Kenda Electronic
Systems has appointed Allen Haughton as project manager to spearhead
the company's rapidly expanding operations in the area of electricity
metering maintenance.
Having worked for National Power (formerly the CEGB) for 27 years,
Haughton has extensive knowledge of switchgear and power station maintenance
and was also responsible for the implementation of the Final Metering Scheme
(FMS) within National Power.
At Kenda, Haughton has overall responsibility for the execution of fault
finding and accuracy checks, as well as establishing formal maintenance
procedures in line with both contractual requirements and the company's
BS EN ISO 9002 quality systems. He is also developing a comprehensive
metering-maintenance training programme for the company's team of customer
support engineers.
