Kenda wins metering contract for Immingham CHP plant
Southampton-based Kenda Electronic
Systems has been awarded a
six-figure contract by prime contractor Laing Engineering
to
supply a complete tariff
metering system for the new PowerGen
CHP plant at Conoco's Immingham refinery.
Under the terms of the contract, Kenda will be supplying all
the
metering and data-collection panels, an ancillary panel housing
flow computer and gas chromatograph controller equipment,
and
a PC-based local collector station with proprietary Kenda
software.
This latest contract follows the successful implementation
of
Kenda metering data-collection systems at the Kemsley Mill
and
Iggesund CHP plants and at hundreds of other sites throughout
the UK electricity supply industry.
