Kenda acquires rights to product range of Data Acquisition Ltd
Southampton-based Kenda Electronic
Systems has purchased from the receivers of Data Acquisition Ltd
the worldwide industrial property rights to the entire DA-Multianalyser
range of instrumentation products.
Widely used in industries such as aerospace, defence, automotive, manufacturing and oil exploration,
the DA-Multianalyser integrates recording system functions,
signal capture, signal conditioning, graphical output and communications into a single package.
Under the terms of the agreement, Kenda has now bought the company assets, commercial records and
stock of Data Acquisition Ltd, as well as the designs, copyrights, trademarks and tradenames covering
the DA-Multianalyser instruments and associated Optimal software.
"The Data Acquisition products dovetail perfectly with
our existing range of computer-based products and instrumentation recorders,"
commented Kenda's managing director, Bill
Clarke. "Manufacture of the DA-Multianalyser range will commence immediately at
our Southampton plant to ensure continued availability of the products, and we will
also be initiating a major product development programme."
